For this scrapbook layout using the irresistible Wild Child collection from Pink Paislee. The layout was inspired by the Hungarian Christmas candy: szaloncukor. I started my layout by trimming down an 8,5 x 11 inch background paper from American Crafts White Cardstock. Next I chose Pink Paislee Wild Child 12×12 Paper 8 and I trimmed a piece of it. I cut the strips following the design of Pink Paislee Wild Child 12×12 Paper 8 and I curled them up.  I glued down the designer paper on the top of my background without sticking the strips. After finding the right place of my photo, I cut out the title with my new Cameo 3 (wohooo!), and placed them above the Pink Paislee Wild Child 12×12 Paper 8. I made some tinsels from gold string to get a more fluffy, Christmas candy look, and I put them under some paper strip. Finally I created a long embellishment using  Pink Paislee Wild Child Ephemera Pack,  My Mind´s Eye Blush Enamel Dots and some ribbons I have left. Last Minute DIY Gifts, Pink and Paper Design Team Post

Today I brought two simple and super fast projects. Who does not like cakes? If you fill a box with your homemade cookies, you will gladden the heart of your friend  surely. The way to prepare the box is very simple, you will need a paper plate that you have to bend and cut as you see in the image above. Then tie it with a nice ribbon and decorate with My Minds Eye, Joyful Collection Die Cuts.  Stickers or Chipboards. My other gift is a Christmas bulb. I like to receive decorations for the Christmas tree, because they remind me of the person from whom I received them. I filled the bulb with My Minds Eye, Joyful Collection Die Cuts and with some cute things and as a final touch I added a bow. Love P.J.

December Daily with Sweater Weather Collection, Pink and Paper Design Team Post

This year I decided to make a Project Life type December Daily, even so I like to show you some tricks, how to make your album more versatile. As the basis of the DD I used Becky Higgins, Project Life 6×8 Black Pattern album, Becky Higgins, Project Life 6×6 Big Envelope, Becky Higgins, Project Life 8,5×11 Page Protector, Becky Higgins, Project Life Design2 és Design3 pockets. To get an integrated look is always a good idea to use one particular collection, this time I chose American Crafts, Sweater Wheater collection.  I also precut the numbers of the dates in order to unify the album. Those who know me know that I adore outstanding elements, so I created an interactive layout using American Crafts, Sweater Weather Ephemera. Although all type of page protectors are available, sometimes is good to play with different forms. I cut off a strip of pockets from Becky Higgins, Project Life Panoramic Page Protector and I decorated it with American Crafts Sweater Weather Ephemera and Stickers. Sweater Weather Collection – Advent Calendar, Pink and Paper Design Team Post

It is already tradition in our home that the kiddoes have a small Christmas tree in their room in this season. Why not use it as an advent calendar, where the days of the calendar are the ornaments? The process is very easy, you can really do it in an hour. First I painted 24 boxes of matches on white. After the painting was dry I started decorating with American Crafts Sweater Weather Stickers, American Crafts Sweater Weather Ephemera Pack and American Crafts Sweater Joyous Alpha Thickers. These are my favorites: I think the trick of this type of projects is no to owerthink, just go with the flow and enjoy creating. Every piece of this collection is very cute and color-coordinated, so it is very easy to work with them. As a last step, when the boxes were ready, I placed them on the Christmas tree. Love, P.J.

Heart of Home Family Tree Layout, Pink and Paper Design Team Post

Happy Friday Everyone! I am Julia and today I would like to show you a family tree layout. Now that we are entering in the winter season, I like to create more and more with Jen Hadfield’s Heart of Home collection, because of it’s heartwarming, rustic colors. First I chose Pebbles  Heart of Home Grow paper, wich was designed just for this purpose. After choosing the paper, I placed my photos in a circle on my layout. Under the images I decorated with the Pebbles Heart of Home Layered Label Stickers. After I decorated the empty places between the photos with Pebbles Heart of Home Ephemeras and Pebbles Heart of Home Layered Stickers. Hi Everyone! Julia here. I really like watercolor painting because even though it has a lot of personality it is very easy to use material for beginners too. In this blogpost I would like to give you some basic ideas how to use it on your scrap layouts. Mona is also a big fan of the JaneDavenport – Bright palette, so she made you a color palette as a little help: When sometimes we buy a scrap treasure, we don’t even have an idea how many opportunities it has. Just take a look at this gorgeous Jane Davenport – Bright Watercolor Palette. It has great colors, you got a mixing palette which I simply adore and it has 12 beautiful colors. However if we take a closer look it contains so much more. I made a little color chart from the Bright palette by pairing every color and painting them to a watercolor paper for a better transparency. I mixed every color pair 1:1 and so I got 80 nicely saturated colors. What I love in this palette …

Autumn decor ideas, Pink and Paper Design Team Post

Today I like to show you two projects I made with the cosy Pebbles Heart of Home collection. For both project I precut autumn leaves from Pebbles Hear of Home 6×6 Paper Pad. My first project is a packaging tip, this box I made for one of my daughters friend, what is inside is a supersecret, but I can tell you that for outside I used the lovely butterflies of Pebbles Ephemera Pack and some precut leaves. The second one is a fall wreath what I had started with my son in a “crafts afternoon” in my son’s nursery, and I finished at home using Pebbles Heart of Home Ephemera butterflies and diecut leaves. I invite you to play with us using the sketch below: In my layout I used almost eveything from Pebbles Heart of Home Collection. I love this cosy mixture of gold, brown and pale pink. It reminds me of the lights on an october afternoon. For the background I chose Pebbles Heart of Home Grow 12×12 paper, and I added some 6×6 papers from the Pebbles Heart of Home Paper Pad. I am so very excited to share with you my first layout as a creative team member, on Pink and Paper’s blog. To created this page I used the adorable Carousel Collection from Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes.  I adore the fresh, vivid colors and happy figures of this collection! First I made a messy painted, blue background on a transparent sheet and I glued it down on „Uplifting „ 12×12 paper from the collection, then I placed my photo. After I found the place to my title, I started to embellish my layout using the Chipboard Stickers and Ephemera Die Cuts from the same collection. (Yes! The striped buttons are from the Ephemera Pack too!) To balance my page I added some black and white strips on the top of my layout. As a final touch, for a little eye catching detail I have used almost all of the stars from Carousel collection. Love, P.J.
