Recently, I made a mini album of our last autumn excursions, but this picture I liked so much that made a layout whit it. I started this layout planning that I was going to make little “canvases” on it, but in the end everything turned out in another way. If you want to see how the whole layout came together, watch the process video below! Love, P.J.
My mischievous son turned 4 last weekend. I wanted to make something messy, so I started whith my watercolor paints, – I adore this blue, it’s so blue! – than I stamped and embossed on it. When I finished this mixed media part, started to frame up the layout. I layered some black and white paper from Felicity Jane Studio, cut out the number and added a few embellishments. That’s how I sewed the jacket to the button. Con este layout participo en el reto de In The Scrap. Love, P.J.
Sometime you just receive your new kit and you have to create! That was the case with this layout inspired by Wilna.
I like painting, most of the times I find it difficult when I can’t paint what is in my mind, and having no time to practice what I envisaged. One night, I was messing with the paint and I put one colour on another and put them together onto a paper with a cardboard. At certain points the colours come together but not everywhere, what I would like is the acrylic paint not to absorb as much as it does at the moment and also texturised the paper. Furthermore, in order to create more layers, I have added embossing powder. At first sight, I thought that this is a new creation of mine, however, later on I have come to the conclusion that this isn’t a complete piece of work, so I decided to convert it in a scrapbook layout. I have chosen one of the lyrics of Silje Nergaard as the theme of the picture.
I made this online workshop for NőiCsizma Design, in May 2015. During the workshop we used some mixed – media and layering technics, also to prepare self-made embellishments to create a mini album.
