As spring approaches so fast, I decided to change a bit my favorite place in the house, my scrapbook room. We are always so very creative! We use all the things in a different way that it should be. Today, I’ll choose the classic way, I’m going to use the resin frames as a frame. I believe it may have occurred to you too, when you are practicing or experimenting with watercolor or other mediums, however, the outcome does not finish as your originally planned, though you feel pity to throw out the sheet. So, do not do it! Just use a part of it! Put a frame on the paper, and try to find the perfect cut out. When you found it, cut out the detail and put it into a frame. I am very happy with my recycled sheet. Love, P.J.
Some days are just bad days, that’s all. I started this layout by choosing the photo I wanted to use. Then, I painted some paper with watercolor and I layerd them beneath the foto with a piece of lace. I wanted to use some Crate Paper chipboard elements from my Hip Kit and the rub-ons. I adore rub-ons! It always gives a special texture to the layout. I attached the chipboards, but it was kind of disappointed with how it turned out, to be honest, so I started to bring more embellishments. For my final touches, I added more gold elements and a bit of machine stitching. I did not want to journaling on this page, the date is on the other side of the page, like on old photos.
