Cookie party invitations

Inspired by the Advent posts of my talented teammates,  this year’s cookie party cards I made with the goodies that come with the Cosy Toes kit. All five cards are a fun mixture of white cardstock, polka dots tulle, different embellishments and Crate Paper’s Hot Cocoa paper. I love how layers help add so much dimension to your project! Love, P.J.

Gather

Recently, I made a mini album of our last autumn excursions, but this picture I liked so much that made a layout whit it. I started this layout planning that I was going to make little “canvases” on it, but in the end everything turned out in another way. If you want to see how the whole layout came together, watch the process video below! Love, P.J.

Us

‘I believe in the world as in a daisy, Because I see it. But I don’t think about it, Because to think is to not understand. The world wasn’t made for us to think about it (To think is to have eyes that aren’t well) But to look at it and to be in agreement.’ – Fernando Pessoa – Love, P.J.

Together

In April Jot Magazine made an incredible inspiring mood board again. I love all the colors and details! Thank you Loredana! As usual I’ve taken inspiration from the colour palette. I layered my photo with Felicity Jane papers and with the Silhouette backround. I added a lot of embellishments on the right side of the photo, and some left overs on the left side of my layout in order to balance it.  I know, I know… my layout turned out much more bucolic than the beautiful modern design on the mood board. But what can I do? Nowadays I can’t resist using orchids, petals and leaves. Siendo una loca con esta página participo en el reto de mayo de Cocoloko.es. Love, P.J.

Love

Today I share my layout inspired by Jot Magazine’s March Mood Board. Normally I use a lot of blue and green, but this time the pink lemonade and the mint truck was what really caught my eye. So, I layered all the black and white papers and I sewed them on each other. I continued layering with embellishments from Crate Paper and with some die cuts from Wilna, till I  filled up the white spaces around the photo. I’m quite happy how my layout turned out. As chaotic as monday morning wakings,  when you don’t know that you are half awake or half asleep, then you drag the curtains and the sun is dazzle in your eyes… It was so much fun create this LO, thank you Mardi for the inspiration! Love, P.J.

Remember

You may  think this will be a “kill the kit” post, but in fact, I’ve just received my new kit from Felicity Jane. As I got my package, I was like a child in a candy store, I wanted to use all at the same time. 😀 When I read the Inspired by… post of Danielle and I saw the sneek peak image of March kit, I decided to use the sneek image design as a sketch:Nowadays I obsessively leave messages for my children, this time I chose a quote from Susana Fortes about being brother and sister . Love, P.J.

Facebook Mini Album

Do you admit or not, facebook is part of our life. Sometimes things happen faster in our virtual community, than in real life. Do you think that everything is documented what you have on facebook? I prepared this workshop as exercises in style. It won’t document one particular event, like a birthday, wedding, etc. The common ground is the source of inspiration, facebook, and because your facebook profile is you,  so you can interpret this mini as a “Me” album if you like. Chapters: – front cover – see it in a different way – selfie – comments – I was tagged – quotes – just for fun – events – photo posts – back cover
