Family traditions

Now it is a family tradition to visit the wildlife park at the advent of Autumn. Although I used Wilna´s beautiful bucolic frames, I wanted to keep the album very simple. First I added a bit of acrylic paint as a background of the frames and I finished off by using the chipboard embellishments of Crate Paper´s Gather and Cool Kid collections. On the vellum pages I used Pebbles´ printed chipborad leaves. It was very difficult to stop and not to paint more, or add more embellishments, but I think I managed it. I really love how my mini turned out, you can scroll through the entire album at the and of the process video: Love, P.J.

Five ways to use tags

I adore tags! I use them a lot both on my pages as well as in my mini albums. In this post I like to share with you some tips how to use them in different proyects. For a lazy persone like me, the easiest way to create an album is just gather some tags inserting a binder ring: Tags are also very useful to create layers on your page or in your mini album: You can use them instead of greating cards: It´s a great decorative element on your page, whit hidden jurnaling, or as a string holder, or just to embellish your proyect. Finally an other mini I´ve made with tags. It´s a bit more complicated then the first one, but I think the result it speaks for itself. It´s fun that you can pull out and mix the tags as you want.(The tuto you can find HERE): Love, P.J.

Vértes Mini album

Today I am sharing a mini album about the excursion we made in Vértes last year. I wanted to use all the bits and pieces I had left from the Tuesday Kit. To begin, I gathered some papers and puffy stickers. After I trimmed my photos by 4×4 inches and I printed out the quote on vellum (Árpád Tóth for the Hungarian readers). As a next step, I designed the front cover in Ilustrator.  You can use a Word Document also, but for me it is easyer to change the letter styles and put everything in its right place using this program. Once everything was designed and printed out, I punched one hole on every page for my small binder ring. Before assemble the album, I  decided to make some embellisments for the ring, so  I created a yellow tassel and I covered the background of a puffy heart with pattern paper then punched it in order to get a little charm. As a final tuch I added a banner and a ribbon to the ring. I also prepared a quick …

Birthday mini album

I made this mini for the sixth birthday of my daughter. I liked to make an album which is airy, colorful and girly at the same time. I started by drawing some childish fowers and colored them with watercolor painting, but as usually happens I only used a part of it. I cut out a vellum envelope and trimmed some paper and journaling cards from Felicity Jane. I also made an inner envelope, just to lend variety to the album. After my photos were in place, I added the embellishments. Some cards I customized whit my watercolor flowers, some I added stamping or layerd whith the little left overs. Here I share with you a little video about the mini: Love, P.J.
