When I saw this month Jot Magazine Mood Board, I was in love! Have been wanting to use this floral printed textil on a layout, and now it seemed like the time has come, as it makes a good match for the mood board colours and with my photo. To embellish I have used Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams chipboards and Felicity Jane Studio papers and stamps. For the finishing touches I added some white feather and a beads to get a more girly look. Love, P.J.
I love this picture about my daughter and I was so inspired by all the goodies in Heart Day collection. The whole layout was actually built around the pretty popcorn cup, than I jus added my photo and some more details to balance my page. Whit this layout I participate in Jot magazine’s February challenge. Love, P.J.
Today there is no video tutorial, nor step by step images just an easy girly layout. Enjoy. Love, P.J.
Wooooohoooo! My first ever international Design Team! Meet me on Like For Ever Blog! Love, P.J.
Sorry for the English readers, this post will be in Spanish: Aquí en Hungría tenemos un juego tipo “carrera de relevos”.
Now it is a family tradition to visit the wildlife park at the advent of Autumn. Although I used Wilna´s beautiful bucolic frames, I wanted to keep the album very simple. First I added a bit of acrylic paint as a background of the frames and I finished off by using the chipboard embellishments of Crate Paper´s Gather and Cool Kid collections. On the vellum pages I used Pebbles´ printed chipborad leaves. It was very difficult to stop and not to paint more, or add more embellishments, but I think I managed it. I really love how my mini turned out, you can scroll through the entire album at the and of the process video: Love, P.J.
I have caught the Christmas-fever early on this year and I was in the mood for make some Christmas cards. The Christmas paper collection I ordered has not arrived yet, thus I decided to use my scraps and left overs from other collections. I hope you will enjoy the video: Love, P.J.
My daughter had very little hair for a long time. Fortunately, in the end she has grown her hair, but I would never make jokes about it in our house. She still would like to have hair like Rapunzel, and she takes this very seriously… This layout I made using Dannielle & Suse’s sketch from Felicity Jane Studio. First I made a stenciled background, than I layered some FJ papers with tulle. Finally I decorated with this cute little black FJ stars and some puffy stickers from Crate Paper. Love, P.J.
This is my current favorite picture about my daughter and my current favorite poem about motherhood. The layout based on Wilna’s “Lesson in grace” mini workshop and I made it for Cocoloko’s Trio Challenge. Love, P.J.
I think we all agree that Wilna is our eternal inspiration. She was my first “international teacher” when I started scrapbooking, and time to time I feel I must return and create a layout in her style. First I made a background whit black chalkboard paint. Once the black paint was dry I added a soft pink paint layer. After that, I drew one of Wilna’s pattern whit my Silhouette sketh pen. It is very easy! You will follow the same steps as for a normal cut file, but at the end, in the ‘Cut Settings Window’ you will change from ‘cutting blade’ to ‘sketch pen’. Do not forget to load your pen before printing! Here you can find an official tutorial. The creative files I used from Wilna: BLOOM Collection and LEAVES Cut Files + Brushes. As a last step I adedd a little bit of color to freshen up my composition using Jot Magazine’s mood board as a color scheme. As a final touch I embellished my layout with Wilnas cut outs. Love, P.J.
